This story of “Zenere” bakery begins long ago with a young shop's boy, it goes through two imprisonments, passes a devastating flood and involves three generations of Zenere, it's the history of a family.
“Zenere cakes” come from almost a century of bread-making, the result of passion and competences handed down from father to son and now to the new third generation.
Enrica studied in Nice to become a professional ballerina, and during the school time she worked at “Pain Quotidien” in Nice to pay her studies: a world of biscuits, baguettes and brioches, that reminded her of the family's bakery back home. Once finished the ballet school, Enrica returned to Vicenza with her degree and willing to bake home-made cookies.
So, as family's official pastry chef, she starts dedicating herself to produce typical cakes and cookies of Vicenza area, simple but tasty specialties baked with the natural products that the local territory offers. Moreover, she keeps on creating new recipes, based on her continuous updating throughout the courses with Pastry Chefs.
